Synopsis
Josh might have not been a commercial success but it is sure to lay a great foundation for Naga Chitanya and Karthika and offer good entertainment for Telugu audience.

Naga Chaitanya's debut movie 'Josh' was an entertainer with a good subject. Karthika was introduced as female lead in this movie, who happens to be the daughter of yester year heroine Radha. Naga Chaitanya and Karthika both proved their acting skills in 'Josh'.

Even though Naga Chaitanya came to the movies with his filmy family support, one can say that Telugu industry got another promissing performer undoubtedly.

The director Vasu Varma has shown very serious issues of present day students' life in this movie in a very entertaining manner till the end.

The movie theme revolves around an arrogant student Satya ( Naga Chaitanya ) who opposes and fights against the present enducation system. He believes that this education system doesn't help a student to build confidence to lead an independent life. In the process Satya comes to a city and becomes the target of a politicical leader J D Rao ( J.D. Chakravarthy). Satya joins a college and makes the student victims of J D Rao to realise how they are beeing used like pawns by politicians and spoiling their careers.

The biggest discovery of the movie however happens to be Karthika who turns out to be a talented performer in her first movie itself.
